Random Thoughts Tuesday - Bitter

randomtuesday

It's sunny. It's warm in the sun. My house has full sun right now. So why is it so cold in here? Why can't it stay this cold in summer?

So last night the door broke off my appliance "pantry" cabinet. It's supposed to be a food cabinet, but it's less than 2 feet from the fireplace - like you can really store food in it. I seriously wonder what they were thinking when they built this house, I'm telling ya.

The rabbit adores cilantro, but every time I buy it for him, my whole house ends up smelling like someone is making a fresh batch of salsa. Then I get disappointed, because there is no fresh salsa in the house.

I would have fresh salsa if it wasn't for the tomatoes being switched. Yes, I am still bitter. I had to buy tomatoes at the store yesterday!

I feel like less and less we are willing to take responsibility for our own actions. When I mess up, I mess up, and I have to deal with the consequences. Sure, it's a bitter pill to take - but stop making excuses. (Give me results? LOL You know you have kids when you know that part of the line) Seriously though, it's wah wah whine whine whenever you listen to people speak. Find a way to fix it, and move on.

Duct tape - it solves the world's problems. Just don't expect it to fix a garden hose. LOL! (Did I tell you I found a new one on clearance at Target awhile back? I can't remember!)

Frito-Lay to pull most noisy SunChips bags Oh, come on! What, is everybody just a bunch of closet eaters? Who cares if it's a little louder OPENING the bag? People whine about saving the planet, but when it's an inconvenience to them, they don't want to help. It's funny and sad at the same time. You know what's even funnier? That it made the top news over on Yahoo! LOL

DH has this giant container of Honey Roasted Peanuts and I swear they are calling my name. Nuts are a protein source, right? Even if they are covered in calories? ;)

Crazy lady was screaming in the street again this morning. I need to work on my ninja stealth and get out there and record this sometime. Live - from a back road in Kitsap County, it's "The Strange Neighborhood" starring Crazy Lady, Lazy Man, and the creepy guy who sits out and watches everyone go past. Look for a special guest appearance by the Kitsaop County Sheriff's Department, who is driving around here way too often for my comfort zone.

Well, yes, it's good that they are out and about - but not so good when you think that it means they have a cause to be out here.
