Review: Soap Soundz

The munchkin and I recently received Soap Soundz Musical Hand Soap to review. It arrived at a really good time, considering the germ fest we have starting here. :(

Soap Soundz are liquid soap dispensers that play music and/or encouraging messages to help your toddler and younger kids wash their hands for the right amount of time - at least 20 seconds. The containers have fun pictures, the soap smells like fun goodness - combined with the music, all of these are things that can help get your kids to wash their hands and help ward off the evil germs.

We received the Princess Sanipure bottle that comes in the Solar Strawberry scent. Pink, girly goodness - what more could the future Princess Ruler of the World ask for? (LOL) It tells kids that "Washing often with soap and water can help you stay healthy - keep scrubbing and you can be a Hygiene Hero too!"

The little musical part is fun, and it really did help count us towards the 20 seconds. I can't see how long the battery lasts (it's hidden inside the pump), but I would think it should easily last the entire bottle. The scent reminded me of being a little girl, lol, like those scratch 'n sniff stickers. We're just in the beginning of our hygiene journey, and the "fun-ness" (I know that's not really a word) of this is helping.

If pink princesses aren't your thing - they have Soap Soundz geared towards boys, as well as seasonal Soap Soundz for holidays (even Halloween, which I totally have got to get for my kitchen!) There are also Hand Sanitizer dispensers too.

You can purchase Soap Soundz at places like ACE, Kmart, and Fred Meyer, as well as online via their Amazon powered store. an 8.4 ounce bottle runs about $5.89, which I admit is a little high for my tastes, but I guess you have to balance it out as to what creating healthy habits might be worth to you. (Sigh!) You can find Soap Soundz over on Twitter, or visit their page over on Facebook.

I received this product in order to share my thoughts. No other compensation was given. This Product Was a Free Giveaway

Another great product I wished I would have thought of. What a way to encourage kids to use soap and for the right amount of time.
