Holiday Gift Idea: Energizer Inductive Charger (Giveaway!)

For many of us, the holiday season can make you feel like you belong in an insane asylum. ;) There's the church pageants, school and work parties, gifts to give and receive, places to be - and most of us won't breathe a sigh of relief until January 2nd. ;)

It's the gift every parent wants to see under the tree - seriously - because it charges any new device that contains Qi (pronounced ‘’chee’’) 5W or less on a single charging station, regardless of manufacturer. Yes, all your (new) smartphones, MP3 players, cameras, etc can be charged on this! No more searching for chargers, no more stocking up on several different kinds of chargers for the same product, no more stumbling to plug in during the middle of the night in a panicked state because you forget to charge. ;)


Qi is advanced technology - it's actually the new universal standard for inductive charging. The Energizer Inductive Charger is designed to work with Qi-enabled devices, whether Qi is built into the device or the device has a Qi accessory. It features two large charging zones that don’t require locking the device into a precise position, so you’ll be sure to have your phone charged and ready to go when you need it even if you just toss it down when you come in the door. It also features a USB port to meet additional charging needs. The suggested retail price seems a little steep at first - $89.00, but it does charge several devices at once, and for convenience, I'm not sure it can be beat. Plus, you only have to purchase one charger, and it will work for years to come - in my house, I'm pretty sure it will outlast the phones the way we are going. lol

There are also sleeves for several different (older) phones that can be purchased that have the Qi technology already built in, so they will work with this new device.
