I Can't Be The Only Breastfeeding Mom Who's Angry...
...at this news title:
Breastfed Babies Lack Necessary Vitamin D Supplements
I totally understand that some women desperately wish to breastfeed and just can't - but when I see articles like this, I want to smack someone. That's why it's so important for us MOMS to eat right and get enough sunlight.

My son's nearly 20 now, and I've seen lots of "rules" come and go. I did things on instinct way back when, and sometimes did things nobody told me to do, or even laughed in my face for doing, or got angry at me for doing. And over the years I've seen the "advice" and society's "rules" change drastically. Now I often find I was right all along. The lesson is, take every bit of advice with a grain of salt. Read as many different opinions as you can, and go with your instincts. There seems to be a push on now to get everybody to take vitamin D supplements, so this article doesn't surprise me. Doesn't surprise me at all to read that formula fed babies seem better off. Grain of salt needed here. Big one.
