Review & Giveaway: iWave

If you have a teen or a tween, you know that electronics are usually on top of their wishlist, be it for the holiday season or for birthdays! iWave makes cell phone/iTouch cases and ear buds - the perfect stocking stuffer for teens and tweens! (and us adults too!)

One of the newest additions to iWave's fun designs is called the Grass Roots Collection. Not only is iWave trying to help out our environment by using recycled paper for packaging alongside natural dyes and pigments for the packaging graphics, but they are taking it another step further with this new collection. All of the products are using renewable materials such as recycled wood, bamboo, and hemp! Not only can your teen look good listening to their favorite music, but your gift will also help the environment out a little!


iWave sent me on over the Gea Wooden Stereo Earbud Headset. It has an integrated microphone, and it's compatible with all iPod models and other similar audio devices. I'm not sure if you can see in the photo above, but the majority of the box it's in is packaging made from 99% post consumer recycled materials. Unlike a lot of teen and tween related gifts you can find in this genre that arrive in large plastic clamshells, this one is much easier to just toss into your recycling bin thanks to the box container a lot of paper. It has a universal plug, so it plugged into my iPod as well as my DH's older (beloved lol) iPod Nano and even my laptop and the portable DVD player. The sound is clear too!
