Review & Giveaway: Wendy's Natural-Cut Sea Salt Fries

I'm sure you have heard by now that Wendy's has rolled out their new Natural Cut fries seasoned with sea salt - I think it made all the headlines! I've got to hand it to Wendy's, they definitely have been on the ball with adding healthier choices to their menu over the last year - first their Pick 2 menu with salads, and now these fries. Did you know that most of the nutrients in a potato are found in the skin?


I had the opportunity to give these new fries a try. Check them out:


They look different, don't they, with the skins still on? It's kind of nice to see that! (At least you know it's a potato, lol) Different doesn't necessarily mean it will taste good though, right? I will be honest, I never was that fond of Wendy's fries - maybe it's our local Wendy's, but they were usually just floppy and bland. The new fries were a lot crispier, and the sea salt was the perfect addition - I actually really enjoyed them! Two thumbs up taste wise!

By the way, the fries are now cooked in proprietary oil that contains no allergens and has 0 grams trans fat per serving. We don't eat fast food fries often enough that I panic over fat contents, but I know some of you do.
