Review: Ice Breakers Frost

I recently had the chance to try out new Ice Breakers Frost mints.

The Ice Breakers Frost mints come in two different flavors: Peppermint and Wintercool. These are new to the Ice Breakers line, and both are a sugar free candy. They have a flavor core coated with xylitol, and cooling and flavor crystals - this means that not only are you supposed to get a great taste, it's also supposed to help freshen your breath.

I was sent the Peppermint flavor, so I reeled in my test subject, my poor DH who some days really hates my blog. ;) I caught him before he brushed his teeth in the morning, so he definitely started off with rank breath. ;) He said the taste really did have a kind of cooling sensation, and that the peppermint taste was definitely strong. When he was done, I had him breathe on me.

I prepared to gag. (LOL, I'm not fond of mint smells, so I felt doomed with either outcome)

The smell on his breath actually wasn't completely overpowering, and definitely smelled a lot better than morning breath! ;) So if you are looking for a quick way to freshen your breath because you ran out of time to brush your teeth, this might help. I can't say it would work if lunch included a ton of garlic though - you might want to try half the container in that case! (kidding)

Ice Breakers Frost are available in 1.2 ounce plastic tins at your favorite store checkout lanes. They are just the right size to carry around in a purse or backpack, or even in a coat pocket. (The container looks like you could re-use it too... I'm thinking beads, maybe? Mini sewing kit in the purse? Ah, the wheels are a-turnin' with me! lol) If you are making care packages for the troops, this would make a great addition to the box!

I received a sample to share my thoughts of the product. All opinions are most definitely my own.
