Rubbermaid TakeAlongs & Sharpie For The Holidays - Giveaway!

'Tis the season for baking cookies, and bringing home holiday party leftovers too!

If you're like me, and whipping up batches of cookies and fudge to give as presents and hostess gifts this holiday season, you know it can be tough to figure out how to present your goodies and make them look good, while not worrying about whether you are going to get your nice containers back, or spending a fortune on new containers to give away. That's where Rubbermaid TakeAlongs come in! They are cheap to purchase - you can even find 2 or 3 packs at places like the Dollar Store for just $1! - and the gift recipient can re-use them for storing holiday leftovers in them when the cookies or fudge have been all gobbled up!

The Rubbermaid TakeAlongs even have a "Quik Clik" Seal so that the lids stay in place after being closed - which is great if you are shipping your gifts, or if you are doing a lot of traveling - you won't have to worry about your TakeAlongs opening in the car. There is even a convenient 15 pack available so you have a variety of sizes to package different things in. All of the containers are dishwasher safe (top rack), microwaveable, and freezer safe too, so no matter what food item you're planning to store in them, you should be alright.

If you are willing to share your favorite recipe you're whipping up to gift, pick up some card stock and Sharpie markers in different colors, and decorate to your hearts content! You can also use the Sharpies to write the date the food item was packaged up on the Rubbermaid containers and decorate them, too.

Need some holiday baking ideas for goodies that make great gifts? I have some recipes here on Confessions of a Psychotic Housewife that are perfect for hostess gifts!

Toasted Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Favorite Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Cake Mix Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

White Chocolate Fudge

And since you can't forget your furry friends, I have a recipe for home baked doggy cookies too:

Homemade Doggy Treats

Rubbermaid sent over a TakeAlong 15 pack:

and an assortment of cool Sharpie markers:

So I whipped up lots of cookies! Here's a batch I sent with my DH to work the other day:

Seriously, if *I* can bake cookies that come out yummy, anyone can! LOL It really makes a great handmade gift.

Win it! Thanks to Rubbermaid, one lucky reader is going to win a prize package just like I received, containing a 15 pack of TakeAlongs and an assortment of Sharpie markers to help create your perfect handmade gift! To enter, check out Rubbermaid TakeAlongs, and tell us which variety you think you'd use the most this holiday season.

As always, you can receive extra entries for:

-Subscribing to my feed OR publicly following my blog
-Blogging about this giveaway with a link back
-Tweeting about this giveaway one time (leave the link in your comment below or @psychotichouse) example:
Win Rubbermaid TakeAlongs http://goo.gl/fb/j3LOw ends 12/25 @psychotichouse

That's four (4) possible entries! Giveaway ends December 25th at 11:59 PM PST, and please leave your email address in your entry or have it available in your profile. US only, sorry :( Good luck everyone!! :)

I received an assortment of the products mentioned above in order to write a review. One winner will win the prize mentioned above, as fulfilled by the giveaway sponsor.

TakeAlongs Divided Rectangle container would be good. Christmas turkey left-overs on one side, and mash potatoes with gravy on the other side.

Sharpie Markers? Great for urban graffiti.
