Folks, if this is something you are happy about, be sure to give your team some feedback - drop them an email, send them a letter, and be sure to show up to the game with your furkid! If you support it, they'll continue to host the event every year!
When attending, remember not everyone at the game will be dog lovers. Bring a travel bowl so your dog can get a drink, as you cannot expect the teams to provide that for your pet, and be sure your dog has it's tags with a current phone number in case you are separated accidentally. Also if your dog is not social, or easily afraid, please be considerate of others and have your furkid stay home. If you are unsure, consider making several trips to the dog park and stores such as Petsmart and Petco to see how they do.
Dear Seattle Mariners,
You disappoint me that you aren't one of the teams involved. It would be a blast to bring the Psychotic Corgis to see a game with us, and considering Seattle has so many dog parks with plenty of support - why aren't we participating?
XOXO,
Storm, the Psychotic Housewife
DH wants his fellow Texas Rangers fans to know that they are participating on May 29th, with their "Bark in the Park" promotion (it also happens to be $1 Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday, and the first 10,000 fans ages 13 and under will get a free gift, so it's a great day to head on over to the park as a family!)
