I Am Beat!

Originally we were going to go camping overnight, but DH had a last minute meeting scheduled for tomorrow, and I didn't want to have to watch the clock to be sure we headed back on time. Since it's about five weeks until we are invaded, I made DH spend his day off moving furniture around and cleaning. I'll confess... I was watching Hoarders again and you know me, it makes me want to attack everything in sight. lol

Lowe's has a shelf on sale this week for just under $50 that is rated for 1,000 pound each shelf tier, so DH and I decided to we would purchase one (in part, thanks to a gift certificate) for working on our food storage. We are wiggling stuff around to make room, but it will be super nice to have this shelf and not worry that a flat of canned goods is too heavy for it! Plus, that means less food shopping this coming winter, too. I'll use the bottom of the shelf to store extra camping equipment and things like that.

I had hoped to do a little bit in the yard today too, but with the clouds rolling in the way they were, I was afraid it might actually rain a little. Maybe tomorrow I can get that done - I definitely need to do some weeding!
