Take The Cascade 24 Hour Challenge (Giveaway!)

Do you hate the after meal clean up? I'll admit, sometimes I avoid making certain dishes because the last thing I want to do is a bunch of extra pots and pans! It's even worse during Summer - we all want to enjoy the beautiful weather, not pre-soak a bunch of dishes that have been sitting in the sink since yesterday.

Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs can help you spend less time cleaning up. Thanks to My Blog Spark and Cascade, I was able to participate in the 24 hour challenge.

My mission was to create a messy meal like a Blueberry Cobbler, and let the dirty dishes sit for 24 hours. For me, that's incredibly hard to do. I like to do my dishes as soon as the meal is done. Sometimes I'll let snack dishes sit until the next meal time, but it is incredibly rare that I will go to bed without being sure that the dinner dishes are clean. It's a sickness, I can't help myself. lol

Now I admit because of my phobia of letting dirty dishes sit, I usually just hand wash all our dishes. Between that, and the fact that my dishwasher is almost as old as me - well, I was a little worried taking the 24 hour challenge at first. My dish that always seems to give me problems are my pasta casseroles - I always end up scraping some cheese out of my glass baking dishes when I pull them out of the dishwasher - and that's after being put in there after dinner. Would it actually all come out after 24 hours? (I was thinking no. It's not a hit against Cascade, it's a hit against my dishwasher. lol)

Well, there was still a tiny little bit of cheese on one spot, but it came out a lot cleaner that I thought it would. I'm betting if I had a brand spankin' new dishwasher (or at least one from this century! LOL) it would have come out sparkly clean - like the rest of my glass dishes. That's what I loved about using Cascade in my dishwasher, how clear the glass looks afterwards!

Take the 24 hour challenge with me: make your messiest dish - a cobbler, casserole, pasta salad - and let that dirty dish sit for 24 hours. Resist the urge to pre-soak it before putting it into your dishwasher. (I know - it's hard!) Then, run your dishwasher using Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs.

Are you thinking you're going to have to run the dishwasher twice because all the crusty stuff won't be out of your baking dishes and pots and pans? I bet you won't!

Win it! Thanks to Cascade and My Blog Spark, I have five sample sized packages of Cascade for five lucky readers to take the 24 Hour Challenge and see if Cascade works for you, too! To enter, tell us who's in charge of the dishwasher duty in your home. (Easy peasy?)

Very easy! I load the dishwasher and my husband pushes on the button...later, when he remembers...(but he always insist he must be the one, something about doing his share?!)...

Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one in one family capable of loading and running the dishwasher.

I'm the chief cook and bottle washer. Boy am I disgusted with the way dishwasher detergents clean, now that they've had to eliminate the phosphates, or whatever it was that made them work that's ruining the environment. I'm looking for a good reformulated detergent. Hope this is the one. Sounds like it's worth a try.

I read your emails every day. Loved the pix of the fair. We used to go to a ren faire, years ago. Kids are a great excuse to get out and go places and have fun.
