As you can tell, things aren't exactly going on the good side around here with the in-laws visiting - I'd really call it more of an invasion, because my house has been completely taken over without asking. Perhaps I should print out a page on visiting etiquette and strategically leave it in place sight? ;) At any rate, I'm about to beg DH to get our little family out of the house for the day before I go off the deep end...
Let's just say 3 days in, I already have plenty of blog fodder. ;)

I hear ya...I was on vacation recently with my in-laws...I was so desperate to escape I hung out at a laundromat for a few hours :)
Can you take them all out for a long hike and wear them out so they'll sleep for hours? Rather than take, send them out, while you stay home and "cook and clean for them." Good luck.
I did get out of the house today - although they tagged along for part of the day before complaining. DH did take me for a decent hike this morning, so that helped me de-stress a little - course the second I walked in the door it came right back. I'll blog more tomorrow about how it's going.
Oh, and catnap: I've been trying that. I had a whole bunch of fun activities that they could do, and they shot them all down!
Wow, I completely get it. MIL is fixing to move in soon, she broke up with the beau. She's great, but, LIVING in? Dun dun dun....
