DVD Review: The i< 3 iCarly Collection

My family and I recently received a copy of the newest release from Nickelodeon, The i< 3 iCarly Collection to review.

The i< 3 iCarly Collection is another box offering set, containing three DVD's from the show iCarly: iSpace Out, iSaved Your Life, and iFight Shelby Marx. Like the other box sets released from Nickelodeon over the last few months, the three DVD's included have all been previously released. If you're not new to iCarly, and you already own some of the DVD's included, you'll probably want to stay away from this box set. Otherwise, the DVD's are included in a fun box set that's easy to take to the grandparents or perfect for gift giving - and purchasing the box set ends up being cheaper than purchasing the three titles separately!

To read my complete review on iSpace Out, click here. To read my complete review on iSaved Your Life, click here. And to read my complete review on iFight Shelby Marx, click here.

Episodes included on the DVD's include "iFight Shelby Marx", "iDate A Bad Boy", "iLook Alike", "icarly Awards", "iSaved Your Life", "iQuit iCarly", "iThink They Kissed", "iTwins", "iMove Out", "iSpace Out", "iWas A Pageant Girl", "iEnrage Gibby", "iFix A Popstar", and "iWon't in Bigfoot". (the bevcoon episode! LOL). Some of these episodes are actually longer TV movies, and all three discs include the special features that were included on the single release. (The only difference really is the outer sleeve case that holds all three DVDs)

For those unfamiliar with the show, this popular series is directed towards the 'tween crowd and caters to both girls and boys. The series centers are Carly, her best friend Sam, and her neighbor Freddie, who host a web show "iCarly".

The i< 3 iCarly Collection will be released this Tuesday, July 19th, 2011. Full screen format, the total running time is 433 minutes long (including all three discs), and the series is not rated, but use your discretion (I personally recommend about ages 9 and up). The suggested retail price is $24.99, but Amazon has it available for $16.99 as of this posting. (Netflix users: these DVD titles are individually available to add to your DVD queue, and you can currently stream the entire series)

I received a copy of this box set in order to view it and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
