At Least There's Some Green...

I gave up fighting the lawn. At least it's not all completely brown like most of the yards back home in Texas, but I told DH to just let it be and don't worry about trimming it in the back. So it looks like this:


And the bumble bees are absolutely thrilled! There is at least a dozen out there every time I look, happily enjoying themselves. The bumble bees give me no problem - we're careful - and they will hopefully help pollinate our garden next summer. Plus I can kind of pretend I have something pretty alive in my backyard with the yellow dandelions. It's a win-win situation for now as far as I am concerned. ;)
