If your family makes a creative peanut butter sandwich, this contest is for you. Parents, head on over to www.jif.com and www.jifenespanol.com and download the entry form or to enter online. Then bring your 6 to 12 old into the kitchen, and let them loose to make their own peanut butter sandwich creation! Sandwiches will be judged on creativity, taste, appearance, nutritional balance and ease of preparation. They are accepting entries now through October 12, 2011, so head on over to the website and check it out for more legal information. The grand prize is a $25,000 college scholarship, with four runners up snagging themselves $2,500 scholarship.
Plus, parents - don't feel left out - you can compete for a seat at the judging table for the final event of the Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest! To enter this one, you'll need to submit an essay of 250 words or less in the "That's Why I Choose Jif" contest, answering one of the following questions: How do you make the best choices for your family? or Why do you choose Jif Peanut Butter? Again, just head over to the website for more information!
Last year's recipe winner was Rachel Granillo from California with her yummy looking PB & Fruity Says "Let Us Rap":

Doesn't that look good? I'll have to try making that for lunch here! If wraps aren't your thing, check out the Peanut Maple Popcorn. I bet that would be the hit of any movie night!
