Random Thoughts Tuesday - I Feel Productive

I spent the morning restocking our groceries. I had a few mini heart attacks seeing how much prices had jumped in the last two weeks, and that was buying bulk. We went to the regular grocery store to get some coupon items, and I just don't know how regular people can shop. Even buying sale items, I don't think I could stretch my budget enough - no wonder so many people are on food stamps. :( For me, I can buy a 50 pound bag of flour for under $15, and there's our breads and pizzas for the month. A decent loaf of bread is at least $4! Insanity!

...it did feel good to smack Walmart with a stack of free coupons, lol.

I am still hearing strip bar music. At this point, I want to do evil things to whomever owns that stereo. I hear it all day, at different times of the night... and I am sick of it.

Did you know General Mills makes Dora cereal? I didn't. I could have lived without knowing it. We hit up Grocery Outlet, the one place I thought was Dora proof. Apparently, I was wrong. The most expensive box of cereal I have bought in years ($2.49) came home with us. Sigh!

...it's not like any of the other characters out there are that much better - I can't stand Barbie for instance - but *I* need more variety even if the kiddo doesn't. lol

It just hit me how tired I am after all that shopping.

...we better not loose the power any time soon, now that the fridge is well stocked.

Zombies Ruined My Day review I'd totally LOVE to play this game, except Xbox 360 seems to be the only game system we don't have. And unless one lands in my lap, I'm not buying one. Three consoles sitting by the TV at the moment is ENOUGH! Maybe it could end up on the PSN? Yooo hooo, game creators? You see this post? Give me my wish! ;)

Oh oh oh the sun just came out! I better hurry up and get my bread rising!
