I do. And since I have a love/hate relationship with any sort of plastic - from plastic trash cans to yes, trash bags, they are not my most favorite thing to buy.
When I first heard of the decorative biodegradable trash bags called Designerliners, I was planning to use them in the bathroom. Let's face it, smaller trash bags are not only hard to find - you don't have much of a choice. Most of the small bags are scented and pink, blue, or off white. *yawns* Boring! I certainly don't want the awful "scent" and those colors don't really match my bathroom. Most of the time, I simply relegate any previously used plastic bag to the bathroom - and I have to ration those, because plastic bags coming in my home are RARE. I am all about my cloth bags and I get super de duper cranky when a clerk doesn't pay attention and tries to give me a plastic bag. (Grrr!)
Anyways, those plastic bags are UGLY. Who wants company to see the last place you shopped at? (which in my place was probably Goodwill. LOL) Designerliners look way better in your bathroom, and come in fun prints such as black leopard, red gingham, and blue toile. They sent me on over the Black Tattersol pattern to try out. This pattern is one of the bigger sizes, it fits the 7-10 gallon waste buckets. They run about 24" by 24". It ended up engulfing our little bathroom trash can for the picture, so I tried it out on the kitchen one - where it fit perfectly! The pattern as you'll see is on the inside of the bag, so when you fold it over, you can see it over the side of the wastebasket:
It goes awesome with my red, black, and white kitchen!
A 12 pack of Designerliners run $9.95, which is a little steep next to regular trash bags. (Although those of you who purchase biodegradable trash bags know that those aren't cheap, either) Now the cost doesn't bother me so much for us because not a lot ends up in my bathroom trash can - we use cloth "hankies" unless we are sick and pretty much everything else is re-usable, so the only things that end up in there are when someone is sick or we have company. (I don't force them to use cloth, lol) A bag can last nearly a month around here.
You can purchase these via their website, or on eBay, Amazon, and Alice. Designerliners are also made here in the USA! (Hurray!)
