CD Review: Lady Antebellum - Own The Night

I recently received a copy of the new CD from Lady Antebellum, Own The Night, to review.

(Isn't Hillary's dress on the CD cover just gorgeous? Swoon!) Own The Night is the third album release from the Grammy award winning country music trio Lady Antebellum that formed back in 2006. Both of their previous releases have been hits and gone platinum, so it's a pretty good guess that this one will too. "Just A Kiss" is the first song to be released off the album, and it's definitely one of those songs that is appealing to anyone who likes Top 40 music - it's hard to classify this one as "just" country music, because it just has that crossover vibe. It's one of my favorites off the album.

Here's the track listing from the album:

1. "We Owned The Night"
2. "Just A Kiss"
3. "Dancin' Away With My Heart"
4. "Friday Night"
5. "When You Were Mine"
6. "Cold As Stone"
7. "Singing Me Home"
8. "Wanted You More"
9. "As You Turn Away"
10. "Love I've Found In You"
11. "Somewhere Love Remains"
12. "Heart Of The World"

"Cold As Stone" is another one that I really enjoyed. The next single release is "We Owned The Night". A lot of the songs have a slower pace to them too, so it's a nice CD to relax to with your significant other during a night in. ;) By the way, if you'd like to listen to the album before purchasing it, you can head on over to Lady Antebellum's website and click on media - you can listen to the songs on there. While you're on their website, be sure to check out the contest to become Lady A's Biggest Fan!

Lady Antebellum Own The Night is available now at your favorite place to buy CDs, or via download on sites such as iTunes and Amazon, where the CD is just $9.99 as of this posting.

I received a copy of this CD in order to listen to it and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
