It was so hot in my kitchen yesterday that I nixed the cornbread cups - there was no way I was putting on the oven! lol I'm moving it to tonight instead.
I was actually surprised at how quickly we're gone through parts of our food storage - I'm hoping there are some great sales on the horizon because there are too many empty spots on my pantry shelves! We're good on the things be purchase in bigger sizes (like #10 cans), but the smaller cans of veggies and soups for the winter months are looking pretty sparse.
We're also almost to the bottom of the freezer, so it will be time to fill that again. I'm glad we've done it, I was afraid we would end up finding forgotten packages of meat that we would have to throw away - luckily, everything has been great. I did gently suggest to DH that I would love to have an upright freezer in the new house one day. ;) (Ah, the ever growing "I wish!" list! lol)

Great looking menu this week! I hear you on it being too hot to bake. It's still in the low 90s/upper 80s in Alabama and will be for a while.
It's still hot in Oklahoma too, almost 100 today! I'm so ready for some type of fall weather!
Found you on Menu Plan Monday, new follower!
