Apparently, it's the week for rants over here. ;)
Pat Robertson says Alzheimer's makes divorce OK
Someone needs to remind Mr. Robertson that traditional marriage vows in his religion include the lines "For better or for worse, in SICKNESS or in health".
He makes me want to puke. Yes, please, let's get divorced simply because your marriage is no longer convenient. While we're at it, let's get divorced because your spouse now has cancer. Or they have, goodness gracious, an ingrown toenail. Or maybe because you'd like a younger wife... /sarcasm What a money hungering idiot! Off with his head! ;)
And please don't tell me I don't understand Alzheimer's - remember what my DH does for a living. I am very familiar with the disease.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, a vow is a vow. Marriage is not a game, and no, it's not always easy. I'm with my husband - even if there's moments he drives me crazy! lol - until the day I die.

I am with you Storm. I never have liked Pat Roberts. He is just out for the bucks.
I don't even know who this man is but I applaud your statement! Divorce has become a convenience these days!
