This week for my Thrifty Thursday post, I've got a reminder for you. The holidays are less than three months away! If you are planning to use rewards points to pick up gift cards for purchasing gifts - or to use as a gift - remember that many can take as along as 10 to 12 weeks to arrive after you request it. Others, such as SwagBucks, will arrive in under two weeks.
Don't forget, if it's been awhile since you've cashed out, to take a peek at your account. Some survey companies, such as Tuluna, say your accumulated points will expire after one year. You don't want to loose things you've worked hard to get!
I just cashed out for a $66 check from Viewpoint Forum myself, as well as a $5 gift card from Swagbucks, and a $25 Walmart gift card from my credit card. (We'll use that one for gas on the way to ZomBCon!) I haven't been able to put the time into surveys like I used to, but every little bit is fun to get! :)
