I was excited that we were sent a set of king size Fieldcrest Luxury Comforel Silky Soft Down Alternative pillows to review. It was good timing - I was about to set my current pillows on fire because seriously, it was awful. I was bunching one in half trying to get some support! I couldn't get rid of those pillows fast enough!

When the new pillows first arrived, I was afraid that maybe they might have been too soft and my head was going to sink in like the last pillow. I didn't need to be worried, because the Fieldcrest Luxury Comforel Silky Soft Down Alternative pillows were made with DACRON, which is a high quality polyester fiberfill that is hypoallergenic. It's been known as America's favorite pillow fiber for more than 50 years.
You know how some pillows when you touch them, they feel... well... almost like they'd stick to your skin if it was dry? These were super soft - like you didn't even need a pillow case on them for softness. (Well, you need it for the ick factor of using a pillow without a cover, although these pillows are actually washable!) The ticking on the pillows is actually 400 thread count 100% cotton. It was easy to sleep them into the cotton pillowcases.
Sleeping on them that first night was heavenly. It was sink in soft goodness. I usually sleep with at least two pillows, so it took a few nights to get used to being a little lower with my head, but after that I was fine. (DH laid there "petting" the new pillow with a dorky look on his face, so I'm pretty sure that was his seal of approval. LOL) I usually sleep either on my side or my stomach, depending on how many bed hogs are in the bed at each given moment. lol We really need a bigger bed!) The pillow was comfortable for sleeping both ways for me.
If you're on the hunt for new pillows, I highly recommend you check out the Fieldcrest Luxury Comforel Silky Soft Down Alternative pillows see if they feel like the right pillow for you!
