Review: Halo ComfortLuxe Sleepwear

You know what? I hate most children's pjs. Either they shrink like mad, they feel awful to the touch, or after about three washings, they look like they have been through WW3. It doesn't help that pjs are the one garment my daughter now complains about "itching" her. Lovely.

I love Halo's sleepwear products - I've previously reviewed the the here - so I was excited to get the chance to review their new Halo ComfortLuxe sleepwear.

The new Comfortluxe fabric is made to breathe better than cotton and therefore helps promote healthier skin. It works by regulating body temperature and wicking moisture away from the skin where it evaporates quickly (twice as fast as cotton). Little ones stay cooler when it’s warm and warmer when it’s cool. Comfortluxe has also been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association. Wearing Comfortluxe can help soothe eczema and sensitive skin by reducing the itch/scratch cycle that can lead to flare-ups, irritation and discomfort.

They had me at the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association - I figured this would help with the itching sensation. When our new Halo ComfortLuxe sleepwear, it arrived on the same day as the new Dora The Explorer title with the unicorns in it - so you can probably imagine the excitement to see it was pink with a unicorn on it!

I was pleased to feel that the fabric felt soft - it's a polyester, so I was worried it would feel like old lady polyester LOL, but even before washing, it was much softer than I thought it would be. It still felt just as soft after I washed it - it wasn't washed fast enough for little Miss Impatient to wear them - and she didn't complain about the two piece set making her feel itchy at all. The material is more silky.

I also love that it wicks away the moisture - this is great in our home during the fall and winter months where it is warm when we first go to bed, and then cooler as the night progresses, since we run on wood heat. I don't have to worry that my daughter might sweat a little and then get a chill from damp pjs later on in the night. By the way, like other Halo products I noticed that these run a little on the big size, so don't worry about kids outgrowing them super fast - well, unless they grow a lot! lol

Halo ComfortLuxe sleepwear is available in different styles for boys and girls, and runs in sizes up to a 4T. You can purchase it over on Amazon.com - remember, there's free super saver shipping on order of $25 or more! Follow Halo over on Facebook for new product updates and sale notices!

I received the product mentioned above in order to try it out in my own home and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
