Review: Master Lock Speed Dial

If you're like me, you struggle with remembering numerical combinations. I'm crimson telling y'all this, but I don't think I can even remember how many times I would have to ask the janitor to cut the lock off my locker in school, I was that bad at remembering them. My senior year, I just gave up and never really used my locker because I couldn't remember the combination and I knew it was a lost cause - why spend the money on yet another lock?

Locks have come a long way since then, and Master Lock has a new lock that I wish I would have had when I was in school - the pink and white Speed Dial combination lock. Unlike traditional combination locks, the Speed Dial opens with directional movements! It's much easier to remember than the numbers, simply flick the knob left, right, up, or down in the unique passcode's directions.

The lock can also be reset, so if you suspect your lock has been compromised, or if you just want to change it up, you can easily do that. What I really like about the lock - besides no numbers! lol - is that you can do this one handed. If kids have an armful of books, or you're at the gym holding a wet towel, this is really great!

Like all other Master Lock products, it has a hardened steel shackle for increased bolt cutter protection, so you can safely use this on tool boxes and other products without worrying so much that someone will cut it off without your knowledge. It also has anti-shim technology.

Plus, the pink and white Speed Dial combination lock supports Breast Cancer awareness, and comes with a small pink ribbon on the side. It has a suggested retail of $13.39, which when I think about how many lock's I went through... is a really good deal! lol DH and I have been talking about getting a gym membership (First rule in a zombie invasion... cardio, cardio, cardio! *wink*), and this Master Lock will be perfect for me - my personal things will be safe, and I won't have panic attacks thinking I won't be able to get into my locker because I have issues! lol ;)

If you are on Facebook, Master Lock is utilizing Facebook and gaming technology to bring folks a fun memory game that will help raise funds for breast cancer awareness. Every time you beat a level, one cent is donated. The more you play, the more money you can raise, up to a total of $25,000 can be donated! It's easy to play too, just remember the pattern that the lock is moving. Each time you beat a level, another movement is added to the pattern.

I received the product mentioned above in order to share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
