Review: Wendy's Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy Cheeseburger

Wendy's recently decided to overhaul their signature square burgers, and came up with Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy Cheeseburger.


Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy Cheeseburger is made with 100 percent fresh, never-frozen, North American beef without fillers, additives, preservatives or flavor boosters. The burger is still the signature square shape, but they've changed up a few things - the bun is now lightly buttered and toasted, and pickles make an appearance. The burger itself is supposed to be a little bigger, and since they have changed the way they are cooking them, they are supposed to be juicier as well.

Wendy's sent us on over a gift card and some coupons so we could try Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy Cheeseburger for ourselves:


Both DH and I noticed that it was a little juicier than the old burgers. I have to give two thumbs up on the pickles - I love pickles, so I am always thrilled when it's on my fast food burgers. We both loved the onions on it too - the more veggies I eat throughout the day, the better. Now, the burgers are supposed to be wrapped in wax paper and placed in a customized half-box designed to enhance the eating experience by protecting the cheeseburger, but ours wasn't - I guess the location we visited in town isn't doing that yet. That wasn't a huge deal though - I'm more worried about how the food tastes! lol

It's available as a single cheeseburger, double, and triple - so no matter how hungry you are, I guess you can get filled up cheap! lol You can also purchase the burger by itself, or as part of a value meal.
