Book Review & Giveaway: Cooper and Me And The Winter Adventure

My family and I recently received a copy of the new children's storybook Cooper and Me And The Winter Adventure by Monique Peters and Alexa Peters, and illustrated by Alexa Peters and Melissa Peterson to review.


You might remember a few months back, I had the opportunity to review Cooper And Me. Cooper and Me And The Winter Adventure is the next book in the series that is written and illustrated by some talented school age young ladies.

This story follows Bella and Cooper the dogs, who decide to take advantage of the wintery landscape and go sledding on their toboggan. But oh no - while they were having fun, it's snow even harder, and now they are lost! Will they make it home in time before dark?

Like the other book in the series, the end of the book features some discussion questions that you can talk about with your child(ren). It also has a page kids can fill out with information about themselves that they can learn in case of emergency. This book is a great way to talk about winter preparedness and what to do if kids ever get lost.

Continuing Alexa and Monique's passion for giving back, $1 of every Winter Adventure book sold through February 2012 will be donated to the Lustgarten Foundation, which is America's largest private foundation dedicated solely to funding pancreatic cancer research.
