The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That! are adventures with the Cat In The Hat, and Nick and Sally from the PBS kids show! Kids learn beginning science and other learning thoughts. It's geared towards the 4 to 7 crowd, but my 3 year old gets a kick out of it.
On this DVD, kids will discover how water becomes snow, penguins who don't fly, and black bears who hibernate while it snows. There are four featured stories in all: "Snowman's Land", "Flight of the Penguin", "A Long Winter's Nap", and "Reindeer Games". The DVD also has a Spanish language option to view it. There are no bonus features included on this DVD.
Trivia: The Cat in the Hat himself is voiced by Martin Short.
If you're snowed in, this is the perfect DVD to pull out and entertain the kids for awhile! It's not Christmas-y, so kids can watch it all winter long.
The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That! Told From The Cold is available now wherever DVD's are sold. Not rated, but safe for all ages, the total running time is 40 minutes long. The suggested retail price is $9.99, but Amazon has it available for $8.73 as of this posting. (Netflix users: this individual title is not currently available, but you can instantly stream several episodes at the moment)

I received a copy of this DVD in order to view it and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.

I am almost ashamed to say it took my little girl to introduce me to Dr. Seuss "The Cat in the Hat'...So I think it safe to say this would be our favourite!
Thank you very much for the opportunity!
