The Fairies is an Australian show focusing, on yes, fairies! It is live action, featuring "real" fairies with lots of music, singing, and dancing over in Fairyland. Harmony and Rhapsody are the two main fairies, and they have a friend named Barnaby the Bizzy Buzzy Bee you see a lot, as well as lots of other friends who drop by. If there ever was a show that could give Dora a run for her money in our home, this is it! My daughter LOVES it! (We watched this DVD three days in a row when it arrived. LOL)
The Fairies: Christmas Wishes In Fairyland focuses on of course, Christmas coming to Fairyland, with tons of great Christmas carols including "Away In A Manger". Yes, real songs on Christmas, not just the glossed over holidays ones! There are even a few new Christmas songs, fairy style.
