According to the Hartz Pet Trend Report, seven out of ten pet owners wish they had more time to play with their pets. We make time each day to play with all seven of our pets (mind you, as I am writing this post, I have five pets sitting on the bed with me. LOL), and it is a blast to see their crazy antics. Hartz has launched the first-ever line of Angry Birds products just for cats and dogs featuring many of the wildly popular Angry Birds characters just in time for the holidays! Now you can combine the silly Angry Birds with your silly pets! They sent us on over a great gift package of assorted toys to try out:
Let the antics begin! There was a two headed dog toy with a squeaky in it that Captain claimed:
(You can see his last few teeth in the photo, poor little guy!) A talking Angry Bird that the Grumpy Princess tried:
(I'm sharing this picture, but I want to point out one small safety point with this toy: It's meant for dogs 20 pounds and under. Girlfriend is a little bigger than that as you can see. I let her play with it ONLY when I am watching her - otherwise this one would be too small for her. She loved this one though because she thought it was one of the cat toys, and she's always stealing their toys. LOL This toy also comes in a bigger size - be sure you are purchasing the right size toy for your pets, OK?) I thought I had a picture of the bigger yellow Angry Bird being enjoyed, but no dice. Sorry.
The mayhem included the cats with the Angry Birds wand toy. It came with two of the birds, and they were interchangeable! You can even refill them with catnip! My crew LOVED this toy! All four could not get enough of playing with it!
Even after several days worth of playing, all of the toys have held up, with just a bit of dirty wear from doggy drool on their toys. No squeakers have been ripped out, no feathers and bells torn off. That being said, if you have a toy serial killer, just keep an eye that the toy(s) don't get ruined quickly, and be sure to remove them from your pet's site if there is any dangerous damage like torn seams.
If you purchase gifts for your pets over the holidays like we do - or if you have a huge Angry bird fan who has a pet, you've got to pick up one of these toys! The suggested retail prices range from $3.99 to $10.99, and I've found them at Walmart already - they had a big display over in their pet section. Check out this totally fun advertising video:
I think my crew should be in a video like that! lol

I received samples of the toys in order to try them out in my own home and share my thoughts on them. All opinions are my own.
