Dance To The Music! contains an episode from each of the top preschool shows being aired on NickJr. Each one has a musical or dance theme to it, so kids can get up and move along to the music if they want to. I love these compilation style DVDs, because it's almost like having cable in our home - without the commercials! Included is an episode from one of Nick Jr's newest shows, Bubble Guppies.
All in all, there are six episodes: From Dora The Explorer, we get "La Maestra de Musica", where Boots' music teacher is in a hurry to get to school, but her bicycle is broken. Dora and Boots join her on a musical adventure through town that ends at the school. From Team Umizoomi, the episode "Butterfly Dance" has Milli excited to see her friend Sophia dance in her school play, but Team Umi finds out Sophia's costume is missing some parts! The zoom to the school to help find each missing component. From Bubble Guppies, the episode "We Totally Rock" helps kids learn everything about rock 'n roll. Go, Diego, Go! checks in with "The Iguana Sing-Along", where one of the iguanas are missing - Iggy the Iguana is lost inside a cold cave. Diego races against the setting sun to help Iggy make it back in time to participate in the sing-along. The Wonder Pets! have a double story episode with "Save The Beetles/Fiddler Crab On The Roof", where they journey to Liverpool to save a band of mop haired beetles who are trapped in a yellow submarine, and travel a village in old Russia to save a Fiddler Crab on the roof. And finally, Ni Hao, Kai-lan brings us "The Ants Dance", where there's a big talent show in the backyard and Kai-lan and her band are excited to play in it. But a bossy ant makes all the choices about the dance routine, and Kai-lan needs the viewer's help to convince him to let others have a choice in the movies.
There is one special feature included on the DVD, from the Bubble Guppies show, and it's sing-along music videos for "I Need To Rock" and "Rock it!".
