Review: Pride Bites

I love to spoil our Corgis. We make frequent trips with them to an assortment of pet related stores, from the big chains to the small local stores. It's fun to see what's new out there, and the furkids get some socializing. (OK, they get fawned over and love it. LOL) Captain has a thing for squeaky toys, so we are always adding to his collection, and I'm on the hunt for cute and fun.

Pride Bites makes high quality dog toys. They are crafted from soft fleece, with two layers of durable material, two encased squeakers, reinforced stitching, and an inner stuffing made of soft foam. With designs of sports team mascots to every day animals - to even custom orders - there are fun designs to choose from!

Pride Bites sent over a couple of toys for Captain and the Grumpy Princess to try out. Captain scored an adorable orange goldfish called Goldy, and the Princess claimed a stuffed dog called Cooper.

One thing I noticed right away was how much sturdier these toys were than many of the other toys my Corgis have. Some toys we own, I wonder how the squeaky hasn't come out yet - Pride Bits are tough toys! Maybe a tiny bit too tough in our case, since Captain had a hard time getting the squeaky to work since he doesn't have much teeth left - not that it stopped him. He's stubborn and finally managed to get it squeaking! lol My two definitely give them two paws up!

These toys are really geared for the dog on the go, too. They are machine washable, so you can get the outdoor grime (and drool!) off them. They even float! I can't say I have ever come across a soft toy with a squeaker in it that floats.

Because Pride Bites are so sturdy - and big, I'd recommend them to be best for medium to large dogs. Since a lot of the toys are the market seem to be geared more towards smaller dogs, it's great to have fun choices for the bigger crowd!

Pride Bites has a satisfaction guarantee. If you purchase a toy and don't like it when it arrives, return it in its original unused condition within 30 days of receiving the merchandise for an exchange or refund (less shipping and handling). And as a pet lover, I'm always happy to hear when a company gives back to less fortunate pets. Pride Bites donates a portion of their proceeds to organizations dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty.

You can sign up online to be part of their mailing list for special offers, coupons, and finding out about new products. or if you'd rather, you can follow Pride Bites on Twitter, or "like" them over on Facebook.

I received samples of the products mentioned above in order to try them out in my own home. All opinions are my own.
