Choose Chocolate!

Here comes my yearly post to remind folks to buy chocolate, not the real thing. Bunnies can live for 8 to 10 years and really need a lot more lovin' than most small animals. Our Grimmy is just like a cat - he uses a litterbox, roams around the house, etc.

95% of rabbits and chickens dying in the first year is a SHOCKING amount!

wow..that is a big number..I love my bunny, but I agree, they do take a lot of work.Mine is free to roam the house and will come and butt your foot with his head when he wants to be petted. He is a blast to have but very finicky and stubborn.I never knew how much of a personality they have until I got mine either.

Great message for Easter! Most people don't realize how much room bunnies need and how much time it takes to care for them.

I did a little bunny research one night, and they are indeed a lot to work with. They're complex little creatures. I wanted one as a kid, but gladly settled for the collection of plushies my grandmother and aunts gave me. The candy wasn't so bad either. ;-) Although chocolate is the thing I'm supposed to avoid, I'll have a few bunnies for you. :-D
