Review: Made From Earth Holistic Honey Body Lotion

Since my surgery in February, my skin has been a mess. It started off peeling, then went to extremely dry, and with my body swelling so much, it's super itchy from stretching. I tried a couple of old stand by lotions, but they only seemed to make my skin even itchier! At one point I was sitting on my hands just so I wouldn't scratch myself completely raw. :(

Honey in its purest organic form is suitable for all skin types, and has amazing holistic healing properties. Most honey you see in the grocery store isn't even really honey at all. For honey to be labeled organic, the land the bees are on muse be labeled organic: within a radius of 4 miles from the apiary site, and the nectar and pollen sources must consist of organic crops or uncultivated areas. As you can probably guess these days, it's very hard for this to happen. (Don't get me started!)

The Holistic Honey Body Lotion had a pleasant scent, with a bit of a woodsy tint to it. The lotion itself wasn't runny, and it wasn't too thick - very easy to apply and go into my skin. Most importantly, it was soothing on my skin within a few minutes, especially on my back and stomach. I can always tell when it's been awhile since I applied it, because my skin starts itching again! I am very pleased with the Holistic Honey Body Lotion, and if my skin continues to stay this dry and sensitive, I'll definitely continuing using it down the road.
