Random Thoughts Tuesday - Come Here, Motivation!

I just cannot get going today. I have 5,000 things that need to be done, and a serious lack of motivation.

Have you seen all of the cool toys coming out alongside Disney's Brave? Check out the toys which can double as zombie training weapons:

There is also a bow and arrow set, which DH thinks the kiddo needs now too. Apparently, my child is going to be trained as an assasin. LOL

We have ground rules with play weapons. These toys must be played with outside, with supervision, and they are treated like they are "real" - same safety measures.

...which reminds me of when I was a kid, my daddy "helping" my brother to practice karate, and Daddy karate chopping the lamp. Yes, the lamp broke. Yes, my mother was ticked off. And yes, it was just another crazy day growing up. lol

Speaking of kiddos, she is still going on and ooooonnnnn about the kangaroos at the petting zoo at Petpalooza (post coming later today, my bad for not getting it up sooner!). I think DH secretly wants one too - he had just as much fun at the petting zoo as she did. LOL

I need to bake.

Oooohhh! Zombie escape route! AMC Previews The Walking Dead Season 3, Sets Up Zombie Escape Route At Comic-Con I totally wish we could be attending this year! Psst... anyone want to sponsor us and send us there? LOL!

How cool is this? 'Septic Zombie' penned by local child: Rochester 7-year-old among top 50 authors in Amazon.com's children category Way to go!

And the zombie video of the week:

...though, if there's a zombie apocalypse, I'd like to know where they are getting the electricity for that Volt, because we all know the grid would be done within hours. ;)

We have weapon rules in our house too; we have so many pirate swords, etc and way too many animals for there NOT to be rules. :)

In a zombie apocalypse, the power grid would be okay for at least a week, unless someone blew it up. Zombies don't eat electrical wire, unless there are brains on it. Lol.

I can empathize with having 5,000 things to be done but no motivation to do it. You're not alone. ;)

Princess Nagger and I want to see Brave - and if she saw those toys, she'll want them too. I just got her a bow and arrow (not from Brave) and she's been having fun pretending she's Katniss in the back yard. :)
