Review: Alexia Parmesan Lemon Waffle Fries
We love fries around here, and they make a fun side dish for meals. I love to make my own, but I don't always have the energy these days to sit there and chop the potatoes, so I'll keep a bag or two of frozen fries around for quick meals. I won't buy just any brand though, because I am worried about all the other junk besides potatoes in the bag!
Alexia Foods just released a new flavor, as chosen by Alexia Facebook fans in last year’s “Reinvent a Classic” campaign - Alexia Parmesan Lemon Waffle Fries! These oven baked waffle cut fries have a zesty fresh lemon and parmesan flavor. I was lucky enough to receive some to try out at home!
To make these Alexia Parmesan Lemon Waffle Fries, you just toss them onto a baking sheet and make them in the oven. No mess with the fryer - and no extra calories, either. This way they are a lot healthier than some fries!
They definitely had a great taste of the lemon, although it wasn't too strong, and just a faint hint of the Parmesan. I loved that these felt more like grown up fries, while keeping the fun of having fries with dinner. The 20 ounce bag was gone faster than a speeding bullet, and all three of us gives them a big thumbs up! I'll definitely be on the hunt for these at the local grocery store so I can serve them this summer - I think they would go perfectly with bratwurst!
Look for Alexia Parmesan Lemon Waffle Fries at your favorite grocery store in the frozen foods section. (If your store separates natural/organic foods from the other packaged goods, like Fred Meyer does, you'll want to check for them in that section!)
I received samples of the product mentioned above in order to try them out in my own home and share my thoughts on them. All opinions are my own.

Those sound good! I'm always looking for things that I can make quickly and, like you, hate all those other things in the bag. Nice to know more natural products are getting out there.
We do not buy packaged food but I must admit the flavour sounds lovely.
Hmm, alright, it is on my shopping list as of 1 minute ago!
