Review & Blog Tour: Cesar Cookie Crunchies Dog Treats
Mom Central recently asked me if I wanted to be a part of the Cesar Cookie Crunchies Blog Tour. My Corgis didn't give me
much of a choice - I had to say yes! ;)
While I make my own dog food, and do bake treats on a regular basis, I still purchase dog cookies quite often. The Corgis love treats, and I can't help but give them what they want. (I do make sure they get plenty of exercise to make up for all those snacks, of course!) Several times a month, we'll hit up assorted pet stores with them to restock on things for our mini-petting zoo (haha!), and they always get some sort of a treat tossed in the cart to enjoy. I spend so much time in the dog biscuit aisles, that I can spot a new kind of treat a mile away. (The dogs have trained me well! lol)
...for that matter, so can they. Captain and the Grumpy Princess KNEW what was in that box when it arrived and did not leave my side until they got to try one out. Stinkers! ;)
Cesar, known for their soft foods and treats for small dogs, recently launched their new Cesar Cookie Crunchies dog treats. Meant for small dogs, they are in mini shapes like hearts, bones, and circles. They come in 130 cookies per resealable bag, so there's plenty, especially if you are a multi-dog household like we are. Available in Filet Mignon and Rotisserie Chicken flavors, if your dogs are anything like mine, they'll gobble them up!
The mini size is great if you are working on training with bigger dogs too, as they don't have a high calorie content. While Corgis are incredibly food motivated, I personally don't like to use food as a motivational tool, but rather as a simple treat just because. Like the way it was with the Pudgy Princess when she was still alive, I figure they have had enough trauma in their lives before they came to us (rescues) and I use more positive reinforcement with loving to correct any behavior issues that may crop up.
Spoiled? Nah! Just loved. :) DH and I often joke about how they hit the jackpot when they came to us - treats galore, homemade cooking, trips to the dog park, folks at local pet stores knowing them by name... LOL
You'll be able to find the new Cesar Cookie Crunchies at your favorite store to buy treats for dogs soon!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received a product sample to facilitate my review and apromotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
