Review & Giveaway: ProXeedPlus

When you're trying to conceive, and it's not happening right away, just about every bad thought can find it's way into your mind. Did I eat something wrong? Is it the water? Is there something wrong with me??? Us women tend to blame ourselves right away, but the truth is - it's not always us that's the problem. Guys can have their issues, too.

Sadly, it took almost two years for me to figure out hey, it might not just be me that's the problem. I was so concerned with myself that I didn't even think about DH in the equation. Now, I know better. ;) Instead of just being sure I was eating properly and taking vitamins, I made sure DH was, too. Hello, lightning strike! Next round, TTC journey #2, has been a very bumpy road. In a perfect world, things would go a lot faster - and easier! - but we'll keep at it until that BFP shows up... eventually! ;) I'll try just about anything non surgical at this point that could help us conceive.

If you're having a hard time conceiving too, and you're on the hunt for something over the counter to help before heading in the IUI/IVF direction, then you might want to check out ProXeedPlus.

ProXeedPlus is a dietary supplement formulated to optimize sperm health. It's a simple lemon-y flavored powder that easily dissolves in cold beverages, such as water or juice. Your husband/significant other takes it twice a day - morning and night to enhance sperm count, concentration, motility and speed, which may help increase the chances of conception. If they are watching their waistline, have no fear - each packet is only 12 calories. (Just watch the calories in the juice if they choose to mix it with that) In one particular study, the ingredients in ProXeed Plus were shown to result in a 20% increase in pregnancy rates as compared to a placebo.

At first, I wasn't sure how DH would react to taking ProXeedPlus. I don't know why I was worried - even he pointed out that it was a lot easier just taking this twice a day, compared to the pile of supplements I made him take the first time we tried. lol (I think he was taking six different vitamins/minerals each morning, poor man!) Now he said to tell you it's not the greatest tasting in the world, but if a guy has even drank any of the protein supplements like you find at places like GNC, it's pretty much the same taste wise. He says he's drank worse. lol Lightning can strike twice, right?

A one month supply of ProXeedPlus is two boxes each containing 30 packets (15 days worth) and retails for $125. It recommended that you take ProXeedPlus for six months for the full effect to kick in, which would run about $750. Now, this is pricey, but cheaper than IVF, and a good solution to try out first if you don't have the world's greatest insurance (or none at all).

If I could pass along any recommendation at all, don't wait to see if you're the problem and THEN check out your husband. If after two to three cycles of trying, you are not getting pregnant, schedule an appointment with your doctor for a basic fertility check. If all is clear, when you start do the countless ovulation tests, then start your husband on at the very minimum a good multivitamin if not something like ProXeedPlus, along with nagging him to keep laptops off his lap - that's a major sperm killer right there.

Win it! I'm very happy to once again help someone else in their TTC journey, thanks to ProXeedPlus! One lucky reader is going to get a headstart with a two week supply of ProXeedPlus. I'm making it super easy to enter, just fill out the rafflecopter form. :)
