Review: Made From Earth pH Equilibrant Moisturizer
I seem to be going through moisturizers and lotions like mad around here - my skin is a dry, cranky mess. If I skip it in the morning, by noon my skin is flaking off and looks awful!
Made From Earth recently sent me their pH Equilibrant Moisturizer to try out. It's a lighter moisturizer perfect for the hot, sweaty Summer months! It provides the foundation for maintaining clear, healthy skin, using a hypoallergenic, light non-greasy formula created for all skin types, including oily or combination skin. You can easily use it under concealers, foundations and mineral makeup.
I didn't know that neutral pH speeds up healing, fights infection, and clears up blemishes. When it's combined with the antioxidants used in this cream, it diminishes pore size while neutralizing free radical damage. When I read this, I almost felt like the pH Equilibrant Moisturizer was created especially for ME!
To use, you simply clean your face first, then apply to your skin using a light circular motion every morning. The container has an easy pop top to get the right amount of moisturizer out onto my finger to apply it. It has a pleasant scent - you can definitely smell some of the organic oils used to make it. The moisturizer glided easily onto my skin, and absorbed very quickly into it. Within a minute I was applying my make up on over it! My skin did not react to it, either, which is always a concern for me whenever I try a new product these days.
Made From Earth products are all cruelty free and not tested on animals, and the pH Equilibrant Moisturizer does not contain any of the ingredients I am avoiding, such as propylene glycol. It's also made here in the USA, so it gets the complete seal of approval from me!
A two ounce bottle of pH Equilibrant Moisturizer retails for $22.99, although it's currently on sale for $16.00 on the Made From Earth website. You can purchase it online, where they have free shipping on all orders over $75!
I received a sample of the product shown above in order to try it out and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own, and your experience with the product may vary from mine depending on your skin type/allergens.
