Review: Glassy

Over the last few months, I've been super lucky and have been able to try out several of Natural House's natural household cleaning products. The latest product I received to put to the test in my home is Glassy.

Glassy Probiotic Glass Cleaner is a revolutionary new glass cleaner that is a professional strength formula to power through dirt, grime and germs while leaving a streak free sheen. It naturally digests odors at their source leaving a fresh botanical scent when you're done cleaning. Like most cleaners, it has a convenient spray top nozzle to easily aim it where you want to clean. This biodegradable, non toxic cleaner is safe to use on multiple surfaces including high-gloss surfaces, terrazzo, marble, slate, vinyl, tile, and finished hardwood surfaces.

Let me admit it: I hate cleaning windows, almost as much as I hate cleaning the shower! Our home has a LOT of windows for being so small, and I totally dread cleaning them up. I have to do it maybe more than the average family, between living in Washington and the mold/mildew that appears on the windows, and the little furry bodies that leave nose art on them. ;)

Glassy is clear - no icky blue coloring here. It took a few swipes to get through the nose art on my living room windows, but it left them clean and pretty streak free. DH also used it inside the truck windows to clean up some of the Corgi nose art there, and it also powered through it there. Both of us were pleased with the scent - it's not overpowering. (OK, and it's lot more pleasant than my usual vinegar, too!) Now we used a microfiber cloth to clean, not paper towels, so I can't comment on whether you might have a different experience if you use a cheap paper towel to clean your windows.

Like all of the other eco-friendly Natural House products, Glassy is made here in the USA! A bottle of glassy retails for $3.99. You can purchase it online via their webstore, or head over to Amazon, where Natural House products qualify for free super saver shipping on all orders over $25. (I restock my Trashy this way!) Don't forget to follow Natural House over on Twitter and/or like them on Facebook to hear about new products and sales!

I received a sample of the product mentioned above in order to try them out in my own home and share my thoughts on them. All opinions are my own.
