I ran inside and quickly grabbed the tray of fish I was about to feed Magick, called out "here fishy, fishy", and she came running. I grabbed her as quick as I could - she wasn't happy with me at all - and tossed her inside. I was so focused on getting her before she ran off that I totally forgot to get her in the bedroom to keep her isolated from the rest of our gang. (Sigh!)
She smells like she was soaked in a bottle of Pine-Sol - I'm assuming from being in the pine tree we have, but she came home with nary a scratch on her rotten little body. We're off to the vet in a few, just to be on the safe side. I put on a shiny new red collar just in case she should sneak out again.
Magick is thrilled, because his buddy is back once again:
It was a long couple of days without her for him. He did not want to be alone, and he expected someone to carry around his fat 22 pound butt everywhere. As he's not exactly a small cat, it was either carry him around, or trip over him and faceplant into the walls. lol
Unfortunately, I haven't seen the stray kitty in almost 24 hours now, and I'm hoping he's OK. I'd also like him to show up so I can ahem, kill multiple birds with one stone and take him along to the vet today too. Here, kitty kitty...

That is awesome news that you were able to find Mystery! My human's heart aches every time she sees a Lost Cat flyer in the neighborhood; she can only imagine how sad you must have been.
So glad your kitty is back home. She looks so cute next to Magick...:-)
