DVD Review & Giveaway: The Wiggles Big Birthday

My family and I recently received a copy of the new DVD The Wiggles: Big Birthday! to review.

Come celebrate with The Wiggles and their friends Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and more as they celebrate their Big Birthday in a "live" performance presentation. This DVD is full of songs and jokes for kids to sing along with, including "Hot Potato", "Fruit Salad", "Quack Quack", and "Wake Up, Jeff!". If you can't get to see The Wiggles live in person while they are on tour at the moment, this is the next best thing!

The DVD does include several special features: Birthday Wishes from fellow Australians Terri, Bindi, and Robert Irwin, a photo gallery, and a really neat hour long documentary called "Everybody Clap! Everybody Sing!", all about The Wiggles' first 20 years. (Has it really been that long?!)

My daughter has always been kind of so-so on The Wiggles, but she enjoyed dancing around to some of the songs on this DVD. If you have a Wiggles lover at your home, I think they will be thrilled with this new release!

The Wiggles: Big Birthday! is available now on DVD. Not rated, it's safe for all ages (those over the age of 5 will get bored quickly), and it has a total running time of 140 minutes long, including the special features. The suggested retail price is $12.99, but Amazon has it available for $9.99 as of this posting.
