My grass is officially toast. It doesn't bug me, I am just surprised at how quickly it all turned brown considering how wet and rainy it's been most of summer. Now the tomato, I'm still sulking about. lol My blackberries look like they are going strong though, and should be ripe in a few weeks.
The kiddo asked for Spagetti-O's for lunch. (Seriously? Ick!) Luckily, I still had a can in our emergency stash.
DH has the rest of the week off after this early shift, so I am hoping the weather continues to stay nice and we can finish off a lot of the projects on our list. The cap blew off our chimney with all the wind we've had, and we can't find it - so I am assuming it's ended up in Kansas and we'll have to have that replaced, too. We just had that taken care of last winter! What gives?!
I have the worst craving for biscuits and gravy.
DH is all excited because he got a Cabela's gift card thanks to turning in the credit card points. He's like a kid making his Christmas wish list, LOL
Theater holds zombie survival class I guess the costume contest is how to blend in with the dead, a 'la the scene in the first season of The Walking Dead? Personally, I think there are other more important zombie related skills to learn, like oh, I don't know - get your rear end into shape so you can RUN! LOL (Can you tell what's on the top of my list right now? Yeouch!)
Review: Dead Trigger — Zombie Survival All these zombie games coming out almost make me want to get a smartphone just so I could play them. Then again, I'd kill it within a month and nothing would get done during that time. lol Why can't they make them for the comps, too? :(
Nifty! Zombie Gun Cleaning System It's sad, but a lot of folks who don't shoot on a regular basis don't realize you have to clean your gun on a regular basis. I think this helps get the point across? I hope, anyways.
And your funny for the week:
