Review: Embracelings

The right piece of jewelry can make or break an outfit. Personally, I prefer something handmade here in the USA, and not something mass produced elsewhere! I want pieces that are different, yet easy to wear. If I have to hold my breath over something that might fall apart while I'm wearing it, it's not for me. (Although, it could still be pretty to look at!)

Made by Kristine over at Crazyartgrrl Jewelry since 2006, Embracelings are memory wire based, coil design handmade bracelets that look like a shiny bangle while going on very easily. If you've ever struggled to put on a bracelet by yourself, you'll appreciate that part! Embracelings are available in a multitude of designs and colors, from fashion to floral to birthstones - even mother's, which are fully customizable with up to ten different birthstone colors.

I was able to choose an Embraceling to try out. This was a hard decision, because there are so many different colors and styles to choose from! I ended up picking out the Embraceling - Red rubberized beads and red/blue faceted Czech glass design. It arrived in a little box for gift giving:

Carefully wrapped in tissue paper:

Yes, black and pink packaging - two of my favorite colors. ;) When I opened it, I fell in love:

Isn't it beautiful? It was so easy to put on - as well as take off - and the memory wire made it sturdy. I didn't have to worry that if I snagged it onto my clothing that it would fall apart. It really does look like a much more expensive bracelet, and I'm enjoying wearing this gorgeous bracelet! I'm not sure if my photo is showing it justice, so here is the stock photo from the site:

You can purchase Embracelings online via the website, or if you live in the Buffalo or Rochester areas, check fine gift shops like Vintage & Vogue Inspirations. (Purchasing online gives you the best selection, of course, but buying offline helps support a small local business!) Prices start at just $10.00 (a steal!), and you'll receive free shipping on all orders over $50. You can also follow Embracelings online via Facebook for updates and information.

I received the product shown above in exchange for sharing my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
