Made by one of my favorite beauty companies, the Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist is a special edition hair mist that seals hydration with Vitamin A, ProVitamin B5 and Vitamin E. It's also great to use on your skin to lock in moisture and provide a natural source of nutrients. Available in a pump bottle, this dermatologist tested product is simple to add to your summer beauty routine and pack along on vacation.
When using on your hair, the Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist can help neutralize odors from environmental factors, as well as hydrating your strands to bring back the style you had earlier in the day. You can spray it on wet hair, and comb through before styling, or spray on dry hair to perk it back up. I found myself preferring it on dry hair, since my hair is longer and I don't wash it daily.
When using the Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist on your skin, hold the bottle about 12 inches away before using it. You can spray it directly on your skin after getting out of the shower or bath, or throughout the day as you feel you need it. It's safe to use over makeup, and can even be used to set it. It has a pleasant scent, and felt cooling on my skin during our 80 degree weather over here in Washington. My skin showed no sign of irritation from using it, either!
The Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist, like all Shielo products, is cruelty free and never tested on animals. It's also made here in the USA. The only sad part I had about the Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist is that it's the first product I've come across from Shielo that uses Propylene Glycol, an ingredient I try to avoid when I purchase beauty products. Bummer - I hope this isn't going to be common in their products from now on.
A 4 ounce bottle of Shielo Hydrate Sealing Mist retails for $12.95, and you can purchase it online via the Shielo website. They currently have free shipping on all orders over $75.
I received the product mentioned above in order to try it out and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own, and your results with the product may vary from mine.
