The UGLee Pen is an ergonomic pen that is designed, created and used by a real physician. Dr. James Lee is the man behind it, and the full size soft grip allows people to be able to hold it in their hands better without getting cramps. It weighs less than eleven grams so even kids can use it. These pens are black ink, but you can purchase refills in blue or red ink if you so desire.
DH was super excited to put the UGLee Pen to the test at work over the last week. He's picky when it comes to how a pen writes - partially because he has to be able to write on small places like chart forms, and because he has to be able to write fast - he can't stand around to wait for ink to dry before grabbing another form to fill out. He really liked the smooth way the UGLee Pen wrote, and he could quickly flip pages on charts without worrying the ink would smear. It fit well in his hand, and it was easy to write with. DH says he had to hold on to the pen, because other nurses he works with quickly spotted it and wanted it for their own!
One thing I noticed when he left a pen on the counter after pulling it out of his pocket is that the jelly like grip attracted pet fur like it was glue, so be aware if you have pets. It's easy to pick off, but I'm sure you don't want to be signing something in public with a furry pen! ;)
