Not near DC? Well, there will be several local walks throughout the country taking place September 23rd through the 30th. All proceeds from the National Family Pack Walk events will be donated to the Millan Foundation, which raises awareness and supports the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of abused and abandoned dogs. (Something you know I care about deeply!)
For more information, and to find out if you're close to a local walk, check out the site here, where you can also donate if you'd like to. The goal is to raise $100,000, and since they are only at $23,000, they still have a way to go!
