Review: T-shirts.com

I can count on one hand the amount of times my DH has been spotted outside of work not wearing a t-shirt. One was our wedding, one was one his best friend's wedding, and one was prom. Oh wait, he did humor me and wore a sweater for a holiday photo a few years ago. So we're up to four occasions. ;) He loves his t-shirts, and I'm not even going to try to count how many the guy has! (I don't think I want to know, honestly) You'd think he'd lose track of what he has, outside of a couple of favorites, but nope. And there's no getting rid of the ones that have seen better days - even though I offered to make a quilt or a couple of pillows out of some of them. The only bright side is that I seem to be a lot better at laundry than my mother-in-law. (You'll see why in a couple)

T-shirts.com contacted me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing a t-shirt from their website. DH was like a kid in a candy store, because when I say they have tons of cool shirts, I'm not kidding - there are so many on their website, three hours later, he still hadn't decided which one he wanted! From old school vintage look to bands to funny sayings, they have just about any t-shirt a guy could want! LOL Finally, he chose the Metallica Master of Puppets T-Shirt:

Years ago - back in high school - he actually had this shirt. He wore it way too often. (LOL) It met a sad end the day my MIL spilled bleach on it. Personally, I think she had a vendetta against a lot of his death metal band shirts, because they seemed to have met the same end before me... now that I think about, maybe he married me for my laundry skills. I still have all of my band t-shirts in near new condition - even though some are coming up on over 25 years old! (shhh...Tide, hand wash, and line dry is my secret) Anyways, here is he sporting his spiffy new black Metallica t-shirt:

He was so excited when it arrived! I've washed it once and it held up just fine. The cotton t-shirt has the album names on the back, and it's given a "vintage" look with some cracking of the letters. This particular t-shirt retails for $19.99, and it's available up to a size 2X - DH is wearing an XL in the photo and it was almost borderline in the size for him. If you're hedging on what size to pick out, err on the side of caution and go up a size, unless you prefer a tighter fit.

Me? I'm coveting the Slayer t-shirt on there. Oh, and the Save Ferris one too! Which ones do you covet?

I received the shirt shown above in exchange for my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.
