So miss diva herself, the Grumpy Princess, had the opportunity to review Viva La Spa Dog Facial Wipes. Viva La Spa is billed as "Delightful products for the Pampered Pet and the Indulgent Pet Parent who dotes on her furry companion". They had me right there. Seriously. (I just asked girlfriend if she thought she was pampered, and she gave me her delightful Corgi grin. >Swoon< Yep, they have me wrapped around their paws!) All of Viva La Spa's products are cruelty free, and manufactured in a 100% solar powered facility here in the USA. The solution itself is biodegradable, and the container is recyclable.
The Viva La Spa Dog Facial Wipes are meant to freshen and cleanse your dog's face, from tear stains to messy food left on their chin hairs. These hypoallergenic wipes also conditioning and softens facial hair, and because the product is safe, you don't have to worry about stinging your beloved pet's eyes with the product.
Now the Princess often has runny eyes from her allergies which leaves a crusty dried streak on her cheeks, so this was the perfect product to try out. The round jar contains 45 facial wipes, and they are easy to pull the wipes out of. I was greeted with a pleasant scent - nothing so overwhelming that it would assault your dog of course, but strong enough to help get rid of eau du stinky dog smell. ;) Honestly, in a blind test, I probably wouldn't even think these were meant for a dog, they are as posh as higher end human facial wipes! Each wipe was damp enough and large enough that not only was I able to wipe her face down, I could even finish them off cleaning the bottom of her paws. (Of course, if you have a bigger dog than I, your mileage may vary!) Judging by the smiles on her face after using them, she definitely approves of the Viva La Spa Dog Facial Wipes. I'm sure that they witch hazel included in the solution definitely felt soothing to her on the hotter days we have been having here.
As a pet parent, I approve too. I couldn't find one thing I didn't like about the product! I was a little stunned to find out you could purchase this and all of the other products in the Viva La Spa line at Petco, because I expected it to be a pet boutique only product! I guess it's time to take a closer look at the pet grooming aisle next trip to Petco! (Do I even want to admit how many different pet stores and boutiques we visit on a regular basis? Probably not. LOL) Keep your eyes peeled to find the Viva La Spa Dog Facial Wipes soon!
I received the product mentioned above in order to try it out and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.

Do people really wash their dogs faces?? And does my cat need that done? Criminy, I'm missing something over here.
Oh Lin, yes, those of us with frou frou dogs tend to wash their faces! But there's no way on earth I'd be trying it with any of our cats. I don't think they'd go for it. ;)
Beautiful photo of Miss Diva! I remember well my Granny carrying a wet washcloth in a plastic bag for our Happy on walks! He loved it and she often commented dogs loves to be pamper just as much as humans!
Thanks for sharing,
