Told by an unnamed 23 year old male narrator, this book - while fiction - is almost a behind the scenes primer for the day to day life of making it in Hollywood. He's the son of a studio head, rich, entitled, and working n the trainee program of the hottest talent agency in Los Angeles. He will stop at almost nothing to become an agent and take over Hollywood - except he struggles with anxiety which he dulls with a cocktail of drugs and alcohol with a little porn on the side. He knows that the only way to get power is to take it - but then he finds out a pretty deep family secret. Will he think twice before following in his father's steps?
A fast paced read, L.A. Fadeaway is a must read for those who love reality shows and gossip sites. Full of current star name dropping and others made up, you'll read about the entertainment business and what it's like to be a pampered rich star, the multiple affairs, and blackmail too. In fact, you'll probably learn way more about Hollywood between the lines of this book than you ever wanted to know. ;) Not ever learning the character's name is a fun touch, so you almost feel at times like you're reading an anonymous insider tip on TMZ or a site like that.
L.A. Fadeaway: A Novel by Jordan Okun is a paperback fiction book published by Touchstone. It is 288 pages long. The suggested cover price is $15.00, but Amazon has it available for $10.20. It is also available as an e-bok for the Kindle and other e-readers.

Sounds kind of interesting. Now I am curious what the family secret is. I am not a big fan of reality tv.
