Giveaway: Celebrate A Fang-tastic Halloween With Hershey's

Admit it folks: one of the best parts about Halloween is the candy available everywhere. ;) And for my family, it's of course the most wonderful time of the year because we get to shop like mad! It seems when you favor bats and spiders in your year round decor, you're limited to only shopping for new items during a few short months out of the year. And that's why I have go to say I am loving some of Hershey's new Halloween candies - they combine my love of chocolate with my love of spooky decor!



For instance, the new Kit Kat Halloween Bar has been molded to feature one of four spooky Halloween designs and messages including “Best Witches” and “You’ve Been Bitten!”. Or the York Peppermint Batties, which are shaped - yes! like a bat!:

Can you see us giddy with glee over here? My daughter's personal new favorite: the Cadbury® Screme Egg™ Candy, which looks almost the same as the Cadbury eggs we find at Easter... except these Screme Eggs are filled with green goo! She's referring to them as "alien eggs" now. As long as I don't wake up to a houseful of baby aliens a la Gremlins, I'm good! LOL

Did you know that according to a recent survey, 52 percent of Halloween candy givers favor handing out chocolate to their visitors, while 30 percent opt for hard candy or lollipops? We like to have an assortment of candies - and fun treats like spider rings - so kids can choose exactly what they want and be happy with it. I enjoy being knowing as the fun house on the trick or treat block, because I remember what it was like to get the boring stuff when I was a kid!
